Extinction stinks.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the horrifying news that the giant panda could be extinct within the next 15 years unless urgent action is taken.

Recent research conducted by the @Risk institute, found that there are only 1,500 of these magnificent creatures left in the wild and that their population has been decreasing at an alarming rate of 12.8% each year.

Although Protection for Pandas has been working tirelessly to help preserve the habit of the pandas, it’s clear that there is more to be done if we hope to bring such an iconic species back from the brink of extinction.

You can help today by signing up to our Protection for Pandas campaign or by purchasing tickets to our exclusive Panda celebration which will be held in August this year.

New best friends.

Protection for Pandas are thrilled to announce the new names being added to the ever-growing list of compassionate celebs signing up to take part in the Protection for Pandas campaign.

Our new favourite celebs include:
Joss Stone
Amanda Holden
Mark Ronson

Speaking exclusively Amanda Holden said, “I’m thrilling to be a part of such an amazing campaign. Issues outside of the UK can often get pushed to the back of the public’s mind. They feel that if it’s not happening in their country, it’s not their problem. But that’s not true. We all live together in this world and it’s down each and every one of us to make sure we keep such a magnificent world and its spectacular creatures safe.”
